The North Eastern Council (NEC) has approved a financial package of Rs 14.22 crore to implement a series of development projects across Tripura. The funds will be used to improve rural infrastructure, boost agriculture and fisheries, enhance education, and promote cultural initiatives. Key allocations include support for service delivery projects, seed processing plants, pig breeding farms, agricultural market infrastructure, and educational facilities. The package also funds capacity-building workshops, cultural preservation efforts, and the installation of solar-powered irrigation pumps, reaffirming the NEC’s commitment to the holistic development of Tripura and the North Eastern region.
