Silchar, Assam – In a significant crackdown on drug trafficking, Cachar Police successfully intercepted a vehicle at Silcoorie Road, Sildubi, leading to the seizure of 415 grams of heroin valued at ₹2.2 crore, along with ₹2 lakh in cash. Two individuals have been arrested in connection with the case.
The operation, executed through meticulous intelligence gathering, underscores the relentless efforts of Assam Police under the leadership of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma to eradicate the drug menace from the state.
