An awareness program on pesticide residues in tea was held on March 11, 2025, at Bhubandhar Tea Estate, Dholai Bazar, Cachar, by the Commissionerate of Food Safety, Assam. The initiative aimed to educate tea cultivators on safe agricultural practices to ensure healthier tea production and address the risks of pesticide use, promoting food safety and public health in Assam’s tea industry.
