Thunderbolts Celebrates 12th Foundation Day with Blanket Distribution to the Needy

Silchar, December 25, 2024 – Renowned social organization Thunderbolts marked its 12th foundation day with a unique and compassionate initiative. On the eve of Christmas, members of the organization gathered in Rangirkhari to distribute blankets to the poor and underprivileged people of Silchar and nearby rural areas.

This initiative proved to be a significant relief for those compelled to spend cold winter nights under the open sky. The effort brought smiles to the faces of the needy and set an inspiring example of humanity and compassion.

Under the leadership of the organization’s president, Sujit Kumar Das, members including Sourav Siddharth Dev, Shakir Ahmed Mazumder, Basudev Goswami, Sourav Debnath, Manan Gop, Zubair Islam Choudhury, Deepshikha Kar Purkayastha, and Riya Dev actively participated in the blanket distribution drive. Through their efforts, they extended warmth and support to those in need across various parts of Silchar.

Speaking on the occasion, Sujit Kumar Das said, “A single blanket can be a huge relief during the biting cold. This is our small contribution towards society.”
