
Assam Rifles Organises Coordination Meeting For Security With the CSOs Of Boro Bekera Sub-division In Manipur
Boro Bekera, Manipur, January 4th, 2025: The Assam Rifles held an important security coordination meeting with various Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) representing different villages from the Boro Bekera subdivision as part of joint efforts to further enhance security measures and improve social relations among local communities. Attending the said meeting were participants from Chhota Bekera, B-Huonveng, Bhutangkhal, Guakhal, Kaiselpunji, Lalpani, Chaudharykhal, and Bhoumikpara.
The meeting would focus on formulating strategies and plans for bolstering local security, cooperation between the Assam Rifles and the community, and active engagement in the community. The issues and topics included here are the improving of intelligence-gathering systems and engaging the youth in constructive activities, and measures to ensure proper implementation of the security measures implemented in these areas.
The Assam Rifles highlighted the role of community support in sustaining peace and security. In their speech, Assam Rifles personnel assured the CSO representatives that the force is committed to assisting with local challenges. They also promised to continue working with the community to sustain peace and stability.
CSO representatives offered pertinent suggestions which helped in streamlining mutual cooperation between Assam Rifles and the local people. They urged a greater engagement of youth participation for community development as well as for security work to maintain the sense of common efforts for upholding law and order.
