ASSAM RIFLES SWIFTLY RESPOND TO A FIRE INCIDENT AT NEW KAIPHUNDAI VILLAGE, MANIPUR

In an act of remarkable courage and swift response, troops of Assam Rifles rushed to the aid of locals during a devastating fire incident at New Kaiphundai village, Tamenglong district, Manipur, on 07 April 2025, triggered by a power surge that led to a short circuit.

With utter disregard to their own safety, Assam Rifles personnel immediately sprung into action, responding to the emergency. The troops not only helped contain and extinguish the fire, but also evacuated the villagers to safety and provided medical aid to an injured villagers on the spot. Their timely intervention prevented the further spread of fire, saving many more homes and lives.
