
BJP to Form District Council in Cachar as Well: Bimolendu Roy
Silchar, April 24 : At a public meeting held in Hiyarpur, BJP leader and newly elected chairman of the District Council election management committee, Bimolendu Roy, announced that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is determined to form the next District Council in Cachar.
Addressing the gathering of workers and supporters, Bimolendu Roy emphasized that just as the BJP has established its dominance in other parts of Assam, it will replicate the same success in Cachar by forming the District Council. He also highlighted the BJP’s commitment to eliminating corruption from the governance system, accusing the current administration of fostering malpractice and inefficiency.
Roy encouraged BJP workers to work diligently at the grassroots level to strengthen the party’s position ahead of the council elections. Prominent leaders present at the event included Janab Ataur Rahman, Bhubaneswar Nagar Mandal President, Srikona Mandal President, and several local BJP workers and supporters.
The meeting concluded with a strong call to action for the grassroots cadres to ensure BJP’s victory and establish transparent and efficient governance through the District Council.
