Certified Copies of Panchayat Electoral Roll-2025 Now Available Across Cachar

Silchar | April 5, 2025: In view of the upcoming Panchayat Elections scheduled for April 11, 2025, the Office of the District Commissioner, Cachar, has authorized designated officers to issue certified copies of the Panchayat Electoral Roll-2025 for public convenience.

As per the order dated April 3, 2025, certified copies can be obtained from the following:

1. Election Officer, Silchar — for all of Cachar District excluding Lakhipur CDC area.
2. All Block Development Officers (BDOs) — for their respective Block Development areas.

Citizens can submit their applications through the Public Felicitation Centre at the DC’s Office, Silchar, where the District Manager of DITECH will coordinate for smooth processing with the help of deputed support staff.

Additional staff from the Election Office such as Shri Debraj Paul (DPM e-gov), Shri Debasish Singha (DTS), and other Data Entry Operators have been assigned to assist in speedy service delivery.

Applications within Block Development areas must be submitted to the concerned BDO office, which will engage necessary staff to process requests.

This arrangement is temporary and remains valid until the last nomination date, i.e., April 11, 2025, solely for the purpose of the Panchayat Election.
