Massive Fire Erupts at Pangram DSS; Flames Spread from PTR-1 to PTR-3

Udharbond, June 10: A devastating fire broke out today at the Pangram Distribution Substation (DSS), originating from the Power Transformer Room 1 (PTR-1) and rapidly spreading to PTR-3, engulfing key infrastructure in fierce flames.

According to sources, the blaze began unexpectedly in the early hours and escalated within minutes. In response, the Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) promptly alerted the local fire services stationed at Udharbond. Firefighters were dispatched immediately and are currently engaged in intensive operations to bring the situation under control.

The full extent of the damage is yet to be assessed, and no casualties have been reported at the time of this publication. APDCL officials are on-site, coordinating with emergency services to ensure the safety of personnel and nearby facilities.
