Tension Erupts at Silchar Gandhi Mela Over Alleged Obscene Dance Performance

Silchar, March 9: A tense situation unfolded at Silchar’s historic Gandhi Mela last night when an alleged obscene dance performance during the Chitrahar event sparked outrage among attendees. A section of the audience strongly objected to the act, leading to chaos at the venue.

The situation escalated further when members of the Congress youth wing stormed the venue and forcibly stopped the performance. Protesters also tore down banners and posters of the Chitrahar hall, intensifying the dispute between the organizers and local authorities.
