Women’s College, Silchar Economics Department Unveils Wall Magazine — BarakOutlet Special Report

Silchar | BarakOutlet: On April 25th, the Economics Department of Women’s College, Silchar, proudly unveiled their departmental wall magazine “Key to Create.” The event was inaugurated with enthusiasm and a spirit of academic innovation.

Principal of Women’s College, Dr. Himadri Das, formally inaugurated the wall magazine in the presence of faculty members, students, and other dignitaries. Speaking at the event, Dr. Das emphasized the significance of creative academic platforms in fostering research aptitude and critical thinking among students.

Head of the Economics Department, Professor Sandhya Paul, expressed that Key to Create will serve as a platform for students to showcase their academic writings, essays, creative articles, and socio-economic analyses, encouraging a culture of intellectual engagement.

Students contributed a wide range of insightful articles on topics such as economic reforms in India, global market trends, financial literacy, and sustainability challenges.

Senior faculty members encouraged students to go beyond textbooks and engage in real-world economic issues through creative writing and independent research.

The ceremony also featured the recognition of outstanding student contributions, inspiring others to participate actively in upcoming editions. A vibrant cultural performance by students added color and energy to the event.
