Another Terrorist’s House Bombed Amid Widespread Crackdown Following Pahalgam Attack

BarakOutlet | April 27, 2025: In a continued and intensified crackdown following the gruesome Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 innocent tourists, security forces have demolished yet another terrorist’s house in Jammu and Kashmir. The latest target is the residence of Farooq Ahmad Tadwa, a terrorist operative from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK), whose house in the Kalaroos area of Kupwara district was bombed late Saturday night.

This action forms part of a sweeping campaign by authorities to dismantle the terrorist infrastructure across the Union Territory, sending a strong message against terrorism and its ecosystem.

In the past 48 hours alone, the homes of six active terrorists or their close associates have been demolished in Jammu and Kashmir. Officials confirmed to BarakOutlet that this is just the beginning: “Similar decisive action will continue unabated against those involved in terror-related activities.”

On Saturday, an unprecedented series of over 60 coordinated raids were carried out across Srinagar, targeting locations suspected of aiding and abetting terrorist elements. J&K Police confirmed that these raids aimed to seize weapons, critical documents, digital evidence, and to gather intelligence crucial to pre-empt future attacks.

“This decisive action aims to dismantle the terrorist ecosystem in Jammu and Kashmir by identifying and taking legal action against individuals engaged in anti-national and criminal activities,” said a senior J&K Police official to BarakOutlet.

Security forces emphasized that they remain committed to maintaining peace and security, warning that “any individual found furthering the agenda of violence, disruption, or unlawful activities will face strict legal consequences.”

Targeted Actions Across Kashmir

Earlier this week, the houses of two active terrorists – Aadil Thoker (Bijbehara, Anantnag) and Asif Sheikh (Tral, Pulwama) – were blown up after credible evidence linked them to the heinous Pahalgam killings. Thoker has been directly named as one of the three gunmen who unleashed horror at Baisaran Meadows, often referred to as ‘Mini Switzerland’, a popular tourist spot in Anantnag.

Additionally, on Friday night, authorities demolished four more terrorist houses located across Pulwama, Shopian, Kupwara, and Kulgam districts.

Security officials told BarakOutlet that the crackdown is targeting not only terrorists but also overground workers (OGWs) and sympathizers who provide logistical and financial support to these operatives. Hundreds of suspected OGWs have reportedly been detained across the Valley, particularly focusing on the southern districts.

Pahalgam Attack: A Grim Turning Point

The devastating attack at Pahalgam, which claimed 26 lives – most of them tourists from outside Jammu and Kashmir – has dramatically escalated tensions between India and Pakistan.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the nation, vowed an unrelenting pursuit of the perpetrators, declaring:

“We will chase them to the ends of the earth. No one involved will be spared.”

The attack at the scenic Baisaran meadows has been widely condemned across India, and security forces have been granted greater autonomy to execute pre-emptive and retaliatory actions against terror elements operating in Kashmir.

BarakOutlet’s Ground Sources Say

Sources exclusively told BarakOutlet that more targeted demolitions are expected in the coming days. Intelligence inputs suggest a network of handlers, logistic suppliers, and sleeper cells continues to operate under the guise of civilian activities, especially in south Kashmir.

Security agencies are leaving no stone unturned: intensified technical surveillance, human intelligence (HUMINT) operations, and undercover missions have been set in motion.

Top officials indicated that “surgical precision strikes” against known terror hubs inside Jammu and Kashmir are being actively considered to further cripple the terror ecosystem.

Terrorism has no place in civilized society. BarakOutlet stands in full solidarity with the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack and supports all legitimate actions taken by Indian security forces to safeguard the unity and integrity of our nation.
