Massive Avalanche Hits Chamoli, 57 BRO Workers Trapped.
27th February, Barakoutlet: A massive avalanche struck near Mana village in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district, trapping at least 57 Border Roads Organisation (BRO) workers.
As per ANI, 10 workers have been rescued and shifted to an army camp in critical condition. The incident occurred in a high-altitude area near the India-China border, where BRO personnel were engaged in road construction.
Rescue operations are ongoing, but heavy snowfall is hampering efforts. Three to four ambulances have been dispatched so far .
