Calling smartphones with internet access ‘more dangerous than an AK-47,’ Saha highlighted the risks posed by technology misuse and urged the police to enhance their technical capabilities. The new cybercrime police station will serve as the central unit for investigating complex online offences, with specially trained officers ready to address rising cases of cyberbullying, blackmail, and financial fraud. Authorities encouraged citizens to report suspicious activity, reaffirming the government’s commitment to digital safety.”
