
Assam Rifles Conducts Area Domination Patrol in Jiribam District
12 December 2024, Jiribam District, Manipur: In a strategic move to reinforce security and maintain peace in the region, Assam Rifles conducted an extensive Area Domination Patrol (ADP) and search operation on 12 December 2024, across the general areas of Narayanpur, Madhopur, and Gotaikhal in Jiribam District, Manipur.
The operation was meticulously planned, focusing on ensuring the safety of both the personnel and the local residents while reaffirming Assam Rifles’ unwavering commitment to peace and stability. An Explosive Detection (ED) dog was employed to enhance search operations, further strengthening the efforts in detecting any potential threats or hazards.

During the course of the operation, Assam Rifles successfully cleared a road blockade at Gotaikhal. The blockade had been a major inconvenience, disrupting the movement of locals. The removal of the blockade restored normalcy, allowing free movement and transportation in the area.
In addition to clearing the blockade, Assam Rifles also identified and dismantled an unauthorized structure in Gotaikhal. This action was crucial in preventing the potential misuse of the structure for unlawful activities, helping maintain law and order in the region.
The operation was carried out with professionalism and precision, and no untoward incidents were reported. Local residents expressed their appreciation for the efforts of Assam Rifles, acknowledging their role in ensuring a peaceful and secure environment for the community.
