Assam Rifles Extends Vital Support to Kaimai Church for Successful Children’s Bible Camp

Kaimai, Manipur | June 29, 2025 : In a remarkable demonstration of civic responsibility and community engagement, the Assam Rifles extended wholehearted support to the Kaimai Church for the seamless conduct of a Children’s Bible Camp held on 29 June 2025. The initiative, which included the provision of essential commodities and logistical assistance, culminated in a day of spiritual nourishment, communal harmony, and heartfelt gratitude.

The event, organized by the Kaimai Church, aimed to provide religious instruction and moral guidance to children from the local village and neighbouring areas. In addition to structured Bible study sessions, the camp featured engaging activities tailored to instill values of compassion, cooperation, and faith in the younger generation.

The Assam Rifles, known for their longstanding legacy of acting as Sentinels of the Northeast, provided a variety of necessary materials—ranging from food supplies to other logistical support—that enabled the organizers to execute the camp efficiently. A community mass feast was also arranged as part of the camp’s closing events, bringing together children, church officials, and villagers in a warm expression of togetherness and celebration.

Speaking on the occasion, a senior representative of Assam Rifles emphasized, “Our support for such events is rooted in our commitment to the holistic well-being of the people we serve. Beyond safeguarding borders, we are here to stand by communities in their endeavours to grow spiritually, culturally, and socially.”

Church authorities and local residents lauded the gesture, calling it a “reaffirmation of mutual respect and collaboration between the security forces and the civilian population.” The success of the camp, they noted, would not have been possible without the timely assistance rendered by Assam Rifles.

The event not only fulfilled its intended purpose of spiritual edification but also served as a beacon of communal harmony, reinforcing the message that collaboration between the armed forces and local institutions can yield meaningful and enduring impacts.

With decades of dedicated service in the region, Assam Rifles continues to uphold its commitment to strengthening the social fabric through such initiatives—proving once again that their presence is not merely protective but also profoundly participatory in nature.
