ASSAM RIFLES HOLDS SECURITY MEETING WITH AT NGAMPABUNG IN PHERZAWL DISTRICT
Assam Rifles conducted a Security Meeting at village Ngampabung in Vangai Sub-Division, Pherzawl district on 30 Nov 2025. The meeting aimed at strengthening cooperation with village authorities and reinforcing joint commitment towards maintaining peace and stability in the region.
The meeting was attended by officers of Assam Rifles, Gaon Buddhas, Pastor and village authorities of Ngampabung, Jaikhan, U/Kharkhuplien, Phulpui, Kangreng, Patpaimun, and Sartuinik villages.
Key points discussed included enhancing security measures, improving communication channels between Civil Society Organizations and Assam Rifles, increasing community participation, reinforcing zero tolerance on drugs & NDPS and creating opportunities for youth engagement to steer them away from anti social influences.
The village authorities appreciated the initiative and expressed their support in maintaining peace and assisting in security related efforts in the area.
