
ASSAM RIFLES ORGANISES A DAY WITH COMPANY COMMANDER IN BORO BEKERA, JIRIBAM
JIRIBAM: In a heartwarming outreach initiative, Assam Rifles organised “A Day with Company Commander” on 01 Aug 2025 in the scenic Boro Bekera Sub Division of Jiribam District.
The event aimed at providing a first hand account of the lives of Assam Rifles troops and their daily routine was attended by 134 students (66 boys and 68 girls) and 8 teachers from six different schools including Netaji School in Boro Bekera, Sunrise Public School in Gaukhal, Covenant School in B. Huenveng, Govt School Tuisen and Govt Primary School at Buangmun and Saikulphai.


The day began on a vibrant note with young minds interacting curiously with soldiers and later on were given a guided tour of the unit area, offering them a glimpse into the disciplined and spirited life of soldiers.
The interaction served as a source of motivation, encouraging many of joining the Assam Rifles and Indian Army.
Numerous games and fun-filled activities were conducted like musical chair, spoon race, freeze dance, balloon shooting. Later on a dog show was also conducted that brought laughter and cheers to the students.


The event concluded with distribution of gifts and lunch for the students.
This initiative reiterates Assam Rifles’ deep commitment to community engagement, nurturing youth and maintaining amicable civil-military relations.
