Manipur – December 1, 2024: In an ongoing effort to ensure peace, stability, and security in Jiribam district, Assam Rifles conducted extensive area domination and sanitization operations on 01 December 2024. The operations were meticulously planned to address security concerns, neutralize potential threats, and foster a sense of safety among local communities amidst the prevailing tensions in the region.

Areas included Jiribam District Hospital, Uchathol, Kamrangkha Khasi Village, Phaitol, Kalinagar, Jiri Circle, Dibong, Kadamtala, Champanagar, Ningthembum, Nungchapi, Moljol, Seijang, Mongbung Meitei, Mongbung Kuki, Zairawn, Jairolpokpi, Lalpani, Ningshinkhun, Borobekra, Gaukhal, Choto Bekera, Gilgil, and Jirimukh.

Special emphasis was given to the NH-37 corridor, a critical route for movement and logistics. Regular patrols along the corridor ensured its security and served to prevent any untoward incidents.
