TUISEN COMES ALIVE: ADVENT CHRISTMAS SPORTS TOURNAMENT CULMINATES WITH CULTURE, MUSIC AND COMMUNITY SPIRIT
The Advent Christmas Football and Volleyball Tournament organised by Assam Rifles in collaboration with youth and community leaders of Tuisen village from 09 Dec onwards culminated on 12 Dec 25 amidst much fanfare. The event witnessed overwhelming participation and collective enthusiasm, reflecting the spirit of unity, cultural pride and festive cheer among the people of the area.
A total of 26 teams from various villages and communities came together, transcending religious and social boundaries to celebrate their shared culture and heritage.
The closing ceremony bloomed into a spectacular display of cultural richness with performances from different communities and villages showcasing traditional dances and festive songs. Performers from the Tuisen Youth Club, Hmar Women Association and Hmar Youth Association and Binupuriya Traditional dances received special applause for their graceful presentations and spirited representation of local traditions.
