
ASSAM RIFLES ORGANIZES MASSIVE ESM RALLY IN SILCHAR, REAFFIRMING COMMITMENT TO VETERANS’ WELFAR.E
In a resounding demonstration of its unwavering commitment to the welfare of its veterans, Assam Rifles conducted a grand Ex-Servicemen (ESM) Rally in Silchar, Cachar District, on 12 Mar 2025. The event witnessed an overwhelming turnout of 715 attendees, including 316 ESM, 127 widows, 268 dependents, and 4 Veer Naris, underscoring the deep-rooted bond between the force and its veterans.
The rally served as a powerful platform for addressing grievances, extending welfare initiatives, and strengthening the vital bridge between serving personnel and veterans. Various government agencies and welfare organizations actively participated, ensuring that ex-servicemen and their families received crucial benefits, entitlements, and assistance.
A highlight of the event was the on-the-spot resolution of pension-related issues and medical aid camps, reinforcing Assam Rifles steadfast commitment to the well-being of its former warriors. The presence of Veer Naris added a poignant touch, as the force reaffirmed its pledge to honor and support the families of fallen heroes.
This monumental initiative once again showcased Assam Rifles as a guardian beyond the battlefield one that continues to stand by its bravehearts long after their active service, ensuring they remain an integral part of the regimental fraternity.
