Governor Assam Pratibha Protsahan Yojana 2025-26: Last Date Extended for Civil Services Aspirants

Silchar, August 7: In a commendable initiative aimed at nurturing the aspirations of Civil Services candidates across Assam, Raj Bhavan Assam, in collaboration with Arya Pratibha Vikas Sansthan, has announced the extension of the application deadline for the Governor Assam Pratibha Protsahan Yojana 2025-26. The last date for submission of applications is now 10th August 2025, by 1:00 PM, through the official portal: https://gappy.assam.gov.in.

This scholarship-cum-coaching programme is designed to offer free, high-quality coaching to 10 meritorious candidates selected via a Talent Search Examination. The beneficiaries will receive training at reputed coaching institutes in New Delhi, such as Vision IAS, Vajiram & Ravi, Next IAS, ALS IAS, Drishti IAS, among others — completely free of cost.

The initiative aims to bridge the accessibility gap for deserving candidates from Assam who aspire to serve the nation through the UPSC Civil Services Examination. Raj Bhavan has clarified that all costs will be borne under this scholarship scheme, ensuring financial constraints do not obstruct ambition.

According to the revised schedule:

• Screening Test: 24th August 2025
• Results of Written Test: 31st August 2025
• Group Counselling (Tentative): 14th September 2025
• Personal Interviews (Tentative): 15th September 2025
• Start of Coaching (Tentative): 24th September 2025
