Two young people from Assam and a Bangladeshi woman were detained in Guwahati for allegedly producing porn Contents.

The Guwahati Police arrested two youths from Assam and a 22-year-old Bangladeshi woman on Monday, February 3 for allegedly producing pornographic content at a hotel in the city. The arrests were made today by Dispur Police. Talking to staff reporter, an official from Dispur Police Station said, “We have arrested two youths from Assam and a 22-year-old woman from Bangladesh for allegedly producing pornographic content at a luxury hotel in Guwahati.” 

He further added, “We have brought the woman for nationality verification as she allegedly entered Assam without a valid visa or passport. The two accused have been identified as Shafiqul and Jahangir. All three are currently in police custody” .

Officials are also looking into whether the case has links to any larger network involved in similar illegal activities.

Further investigation is underway.
