Assam Rifles commemorated 150 years of the national song “Vande Mataram” with mass singing events across Cachar, Jiribam, Tamenglong, and Noney districts. Organized under the Srikona Battalion, the celebration witnessed participation of over 1,500 citizens at NIT Silchar, KV Masimpur, and various government schools, promoting unity, patriotism, and cultural pride across the region.

In a significant move to bolster peace and cooperation, Assam Rifles held a constructive dialogue with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in Jiribam and Tamenglong districts on 14 April 2025. The interaction, conducted in Kadamtala, Borobekra, Nungba, and Kaimai, aimed at addressing security concerns and community welfare issues through mutual understanding and collaboration.
Assam Rifles successfully organized the Kaimai Ranges Football Tournament at Kaimai Football Ground, Tamenglong District, Manipur, from January 10 to 11, 2025, under Operation Sadbhavana. The event featured four teams, with Kaimai Kuki emerging as the champions. The tournament promoted sportsmanship, community spirit, and youth engagement, while also showcasing cultural performances, reflecting Assam Rifles’ commitment to fostering harmony and development in the region.
