Emphasis was laid on timely service delivery, inter-departmental coordination, and fast-tracking of all pending works to ensure no eligible citizen is left behind.
In response to the intense and ongoing heatwave, the Cachar district administration has revised school timings for all government and private institutions, effective June 11, 2025. The measure, taken to ensure student safety and comfort during high temperatures, applies across L.P., U.P., and High Schools, with classes now commencing from 7:30 AM and ending earlier than usual.
