Punjab gangster-cum-drug lord Jaggu Bhagwanpuria has been transferred from Bathinda Central Jail to Silchar Central Jail, Assam under the PIT NDPS Act, 1988. Accused in 128 criminal cases, including drug trafficking, extortion, and arms smuggling, Bhagwanpuria is also linked to the murder of singer Sidhu Moosewala. Authorities believe his transnational network spans Pakistan, Canada, and the US, orchestrating narcotics trade from behind bars. This high-security transfer, executed by the NCB and Punjab Police, aims to break his criminal syndicate and curb his influence over organized crime in Punjab and beyond.
YABA Tablets Worth ₹9 Crore Seized in Silchar, One Apprehended
