NHIDCL to Develop Silchar-Jiribam Road at Rs 733 Crore

(NHIDCL) the task of upgrading the Silchar-Jiribam road at an estimated cost of Rs 733 crore. According to NHIDCL sources, an international competitive bidding process was initiated for the four-laning of a 13.09 km stretch of NH-37, extending from Silchar (near Budha Nagar) to Jiribam. The project falls under NH (Original)-NE and will be executed under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) on a Design, Build, Operate, and Transfer (DBOT Annuity) basis.
