In a major crackdown on illicit liquor trade, Assam Rifles seized 1,800 cases of country-made liquor worth ₹15 lakh in Leinangpokpi, Jiribam District, Manipur on July 9. Two individuals were apprehended during the operation, which underscores Assam Rifles’ continued efforts to curb illegal activities, protect public health, and maintain law and order in the border region.
In a major breakthrough for regional security, Assam Rifles, in coordination with Manipur Police and CRPF, recovered a significant cache of arms and ammunition during a joint search operation in Uchathol and Jairalpokpi villages of Jiribam district, reinforcing efforts to restore peace and stability in the region.
