Assam Rifles celebrated Teacher’s Day with zeal in Kadamtala, New Kaiphundai, and Oinamlong of Jiribam and Tamenglong districts, Manipur. The event honoured teachers with mementos and certificates, featured a tree plantation drive symbolising growth, and highlighted the vital role of teachers in shaping future generations.
Assam Rifles organized ‘A Day with Company Commander’ at Kadamtala, Jiribam, engaging 82 students and 4 teachers from local institutions through defence demonstrations, equipment displays, sports, and career guidance. The event aimed to foster youth interaction with the armed forces and promote national integration.
In a significant move to bolster peace and cooperation, Assam Rifles held a constructive dialogue with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in Jiribam and Tamenglong districts on 14 April 2025. The interaction, conducted in Kadamtala, Borobekra, Nungba, and Kaimai, aimed at addressing security concerns and community welfare issues through mutual understanding and collaboration.
