In a decisive operation at the Silchar-Aizawl Bypass, Cachar Police intercepted an auto-rickshaw carrying 30,000 YABA tablets worth ₹9 crore. One suspect has been apprehended, and investigations are underway to uncover links to larger drug cartels. Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma commended the police for their relentless efforts under the #AssamAgainstDrugs initiative.
